*NEW* SYSA Jr. NBA Academy for Grades 1 -4: Fall and Winter Sessions

Welcome to SYSA’s thrilling new chapter in youth basketball development! We are beyond excited to announce our exclusive partnership with the Jr. NBA to introduce the SYSA Jr. NBA Academy for the first time this fall and winter! This innovative program, designed specifically for 1st through 4th graders, brings NBA-crafted curriculum right to our young athletes. Each session will kick off with 30 minutes of dynamic, age-appropriate skill-building exercises followed by a 30-minute game to showcase the newly acquired skills. Plus, every participant will receive a Jr. NBA team jersey to wear with pride on game days!

SYSA will be offering this program twice, once in the fall and once in the winter. Don’t miss out!

🏀 Session Details: Join us for a dynamic 5-week skill development program every Saturday at The Warehouse Athletic Facility. Our program will help your child grow not only in basketball skills, but introduce what good sportsmanship looks like, and ensure everyone has a blast.

🤝 Calling All Volunteers: We believe in the power of community involvement. We’re calling on enthusiastic parents to volunteer at each station. Not only will you be contributing to your child’s growth, but you’ll also receive a 50% discount on your child’s registration. Our SYSA staff will provide you with all the materials you need to lead and instruct at the stations.

2024 Fall Session: Grades 1 – 4 :Saturdays 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 12/7
3rd & 4th Grade: 8:15-9:15 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 100 participants per session
1st & 2nd Grade: 9:25-10:25 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 100 participants per session

Fall Session – Register on or before October 17th
** waitlist registration will open if session fills before deadline

Winter Session Dates:5 Week Session

2025 Winter Session: Grades 1-4: Saturdays 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8
3rd & 4th Grade: 8:15-9:15 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 100 participants per session
1st & 2nd Grade: 9:25-10:25 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 100 participants per session

Winter Session – Register on or before December 27th

Labeled Basketball (1st -2nd: 27.5 ball, 3-4th: 28.5 ball)

Volunteer Coach:

• A Volunteer Head Coach is needed for each 1/2 court – All SYSA coaches are volunteers. For more information, contact receptionist@sysa.com
• The Volunteer Head Coach will receive 50% off their child’s registration. LINK for registration procedures. The Head coach will receive their 50% credit after the program starts.

• Online Registrations are confirmed by email; if information is omitted notify SYSA via reply email.
