Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 Recreational Soccer
We’re excited to offer another year of recreational soccer!
SYSA soccer divisions will be based on the August 1 to July 31 age group formation.
Registration covers both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons. Our goal is to provide physical activity, skill-building, friendships, and most importantly—fun!

Season Dates:
Fall 2026 Season August 31 – October 17
– Practices begin the week of August 31, and the first game is September 12th.
Spring 2027 Season April 19 – June 6/7*
– Practices begin the week of April 19th, first game April 24th.
– No games scheduled on Memorial Day, May 29th
– The last game of the 2027 spring season will be scheduled on either Saturday, June 6, or Sunday, June 7, depending on field availability.
Registration Deadline
Register on or before July 16th for priority placement. Coach and player requests may not be available after the deadline.
Divisions & Fees
Beginning Fall 2026, US Youth Soccer will return to grade-based team formation.
Players may “play up” to join classmates in an older division, but players may not “play down” into a younger division.
8th graders with an Aug-Dec 2012 birth year may register and play in the U13/U14 league.
$175 4v4 U5 Coed August 1, 2021 – July 31, 2022
$175 4v4 U6 August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021

$185 5v5 U8 August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019
$215 7v7 U9 August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018
$215 7v7 U10 August 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017
$225 9v9 U11 August 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016
$225 9v9 U12 August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015
$225 9v9 U13/U14 August 1, 2012 – July 31, 2014
**A non-refundable 3% banking fee and a $1 service fee will be added at the time of checkout.**
Practices
- Practices may begin after August 31.
- 4v4/5v5 Teams (U5-U8): 1 practice per week
- 7v7/9v9 Teams (U9-U14): 2 practices per week
- Volunteer Coaches set the day, time, and location (Mon–Fri).

Uniform
Jersey tops and socks will be provided for this program.
Player provides
- Weather-appropriate athletic gear: shirt, shorts, shin guards (required), and athletic shoes/cleats
- Soccer ball: Size 3 (U5, U6, U7, U8), Size 4 (U9, U10, U11, U12), Size 5 (U14/U13)
- Labeled water bottle
Volunteer Coaches Always Needed!
- Many fall rosters carry over, but we welcome new coaches!
- All SYSA coaches are volunteers. Head Coaches receive 50% off one player’s registration (credit applied after registration closes and team is confirmed).

- Coaches will contact players after receiving rosters—please be patient.
- Coaches set the practice days, times, and fields once assigned.
- All coaches receive a coach’s kit: bibs, cones, a game ball, and a whistle
- Online registrations are confirmed by email; reply to SYSA if any info is missing.

Coaches Uniform Pick-Up
Coaches pick up a bag of uniforms on either Sunday, August 16, 9:00 am- 12:00 p.m., or Monday, August 17, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Picture Day September 19
Coaches will sign up for a photo session appointment with Dorian Studios based on their team’s game location in September. Once the photos are ready, the coach will receive them by mail and distribute them to the families at the end of the season.
